The Eden Valley Epic Sportive

March 3 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Eden Valley Epic Cycle Sportive is a classic on the North West sportive calendar. Starting from Penrith Cricket Grounds, the route is just short of 60 miles through the stunning Eden Valley. It's undulating, it's beautiful, but it's not as severe as many Lake District routes.

Lakeland Trails – Cartmel Trail Race 5K, 10K & 18K

The 5km Cartmel Sport Trail, 10km Cartmel Trail Run, 18km Cartmel Trail Challenge & 18km Cartmel Trail Race take you on off-road journeys through some of the most scenic and varied countryside in the Lake District.

Ulverston Triathlon

April 7 @ 8:30 am - 2:00 pm

This is the opening round of the EPIC Triathlon Series 2019. It's a 400m pool swim, a 28k out and back coastal road cycle route and a 5.8k road run.

3 Village 10

April 7 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

The route starts at the Green Wetheral and finishes close to Wetheral Community Hall. Best described as undulating the course starts at an elevation of 193ft and as a maximum elevation of 233ft over the 2 lap 10mile course you will gain approx 389ft. 

Lakeland Trails – Hawkshead Trail Race 10K & 17K

April 13 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Starting and finishing at Hawkshead, the 17km Hawkshead Trail Race, 17km Hawkshead Trail Challenge and 10km Hawkshead Trail Run follow circuits along well marked and marshalled footpaths and bridleways, taking in panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding peaks of the Coniston Hills, the Langdales and most of the Lakeland fells.

Lakeland Loop Cycle Sportive

April 14 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Lakeland Loop Cycle Sportive is a challenging ride which starts from the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in Great Langdale. The Loop is approximately 69 miles long, taking in some of the finest views of the Lake District and some its most challenging climbs.

Derwentwater Dawdle 22Mile

April 27 @ 8:30 am - 6:30 pm

The Derwentwater Dawdle is a challenging 23 mile(ish) route that takes in three tough ascents totalling 4300ft as you complete a full circuit of Derwentwater.

Lakeland Trails – Staveley 5K, 10K & 17K

The 5km Kentmere Sport Trail, 10km Kentmere Trail Run, 18km Kentmere Trail Race and 18km Kentmere Trail Challenge courses follow well marked and marshalled footpaths and bridleways, taking in panoramic views of most of the southern Lakeland fells.

Keswick Half Marathon

Keswick Half Marathon is said to be one of the most scenic half marathons in the country.

The Fred Whitton Challenge

The Saddleback Fred Whitton Challenge is a gruelling 112 mile sportive challenge ride for charity around the Lake District, run in memory of Fred Whitton. It starts & finishes in Grasmere, and the route includes the climbs of Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott & Wrynose passes.
