Walk fit at Watchtree!

Watchtree is known mostly for its beautiful nature reserve as well as cycling and trail running. However, now there are walking sessions available!

Watchtree Walkfit
Every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month, 10am start.

Would you like to be more active but you don’t like the gym & are not happy with running? Did you know that 99% of regular walkers say it is better than going to the gym? Why not join Watchtree Walkfit?

Watchtree Walkfit offers a fun, flexible and friendly ‘active’ walking session in a safe accessible environment. The aim is to walk at around a 4mph pace over a flat measured route that has great views and lots of interest. The route takes in wetlands, woodlands, scrub and grassland and there may be standing water and mud… so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing!

This is an ‘active’ walking session and therefore may not be suitable for children, however dogs on leads are more than welcome. There is no charge for the sessions but donations to the Nature Reserve are welcome and there is also a cafe on site.
