The Lakeland Loop Cycle Sportive is a challenging ride which starts from the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in Great Langdale. The Loop is approximately 69 miles long, taking in some of the finest views of the Lake District and some its most challenging climbs.
The Saddleback Fred Whitton Challenge is a gruelling 112 mile sportive challenge ride for charity around the Lake District, run in memory of Fred Whitton. It starts & finishes in Grasmere, and the route includes the climbs of Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott & Wrynose passes.
The Back o’ Skiddaw 70km Sportive takes you on a fantastic circuit to the quieter side of the Lake District National Park, and provides an exhilarating, occasionally hilly and beautifully scenic route without having to negotiate the big Lakeland mountain passes.
Carlisle to Cramond beach (Edinburgh), overnight, 100.5 mile, cross-border, summer solstice bike ride, arriving for sunrise. FREE to enter.
